Lilit Zelim Tadevosyan

Was born in 1978 in Yerevan.

EDUCATION

1993

Graduated from Yerevan Russian Secondary School No. 182 with a gold medal.

 

1998

Graduated with honors from the Yerevan State University, Faculty of Law.

 

1998-2001

Completed post-graduate studies at the Yerevan State University.

 

2001

Defended her PhD thesis at the Scientific Council of Yerevan State University and was awarded the scientific degree of candidate of legal sciences.

 

 2006 – 2010

Was a Doctoral student of the Moscow State University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

 

2010

Defended her doctoral dissertation at the Scientific Council of the Moscow State University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Legal Sciences by the Higher Qualification Commission of the Russian Federation.

 

The diploma of the candidate of legal sciences was certified by the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science of the Russian Federation, and the diploma of the doctor of legal sciences was certified by the Supreme Certifying Commission of the Republic of Armenia.

Served as a Senior Investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of Erebuni and Nubarashen Communities of Yerevan.

Served as an Assistant to the Prosecutor of Erebuni and Nubarashen Communities of Yerevan.

Served as a Prosecutor of the Department of Charge Defense in Criminal Cases in the Courts of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

Served as a Prosecutor of the Department of Corruption and Organized Crime Cases of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

Served as a Senior Prosecutor of the Department of Corruption and Organized Crime Cases of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

 

Was a member of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

 

Since 1998 is engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities, teaches at the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University and the Institute of Law and Politics of the Russian-Armenian University.

 

Has also taught at the "School of Prosecution" state non-commercial organization.

 

L.Tadevosyan is a member of the Specialized Council of Jurisprudence of the Supreme Certifying Committee operating at Yerevan State University and the Specialized Council of Jurisprudence of the Supreme Certifying Committee operating at the Russian-Armenian University.

Upon the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia was appointed as a Judge of the Criminal Court of Appeal of the Republic of Armenia.

 

22 September, 2016

Upon the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia was appointed as a Judge of the Criminal Chamber of the RA Court of Cassation.

 

20 July, 2018

According to the recommendation presented by the decision of the Supreme Judicial Council, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia on July 20, 2018, was appointed the President of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation of the Republic of Armenia.

 

9 February, 2021

Was eleced as the President of the RA Court of Cassation by the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

OTHER INFORMATION

L. Tadevosyan is the author of more than 70 scientific works published in the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, including 6 monographs. She is the co-author of the criminal law textbook published in Moscow, Russia.

 

2003

Participated in the training at the Organized Crime and Corruption Research Center of St. Petersburg State University, and in 2005, at the Petersburg School of Young Professors of Criminal Law and Criminology of the same university, received relevant certificates. Participated in experience exchange and training courses, numerous international conferences (Hungary, Egypt, Russian Federation, Georgia, United States of America, Czech Republic, Germany).

 

2007

Was awarded with the " Fridtjof Nansen" Gold Commemorative Medal.

 

2012

Was encouraged with a Letter of Gratitude by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, was frequently awarded and encouraged by the orders of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia for conscientiously fulfilling her official duties in the prosecution bodies.

 

26 May, 2020

Was awarded the "Mkhitar Gosh" medal for her outstanding contribution to the field of jurisprudence and the development of the judiciary.

 

Married, has two children.
