Ruzanna Surik Hakobyan
Was born in 1967 in Yerevan.
1984 - 1989
Studied at the Yerevan State University, Law Faculty.
1990 - 1999
Served as a Consultant at the People's Court of Leninyan District.
1999 - 2002
Served as an Advocate in the Law Office of the Arabkir Community of Yerevan of the RA Union of Advocates.
2002 – 2008
Served as a Judge of the RA Economic Court.
2008 - 2015
Served as a Judge of the RA Administrative Court.
February 5, 2015
Upon the Decree of the RA President was appointed to the position of Judge of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation.
March 1, 2018
Was elected as a Member of the Supreme Judicial Council by the General Assembly of Judges of the Republic of Armenia.
October 4, 2018
Upon the Decree of the RA President was appointed to the position of the Chairman of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation for a period of six years.
17 September, 2021
Upon the Decree No. NH-287-A of the RA President, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia was awarded the "Mkhitar Gosh" medal for her outstanding contribution to the strengthening of rule of law and the development of the judiciary.
